I am SO grateful for everything that has flowed from Art Is to me. Not the least of it, in fact, the greatest of it, is SAL and ELLEN, who turned their own friendship and interest into this amazing network of women artists who are so kind, generous, and talented. I am overwhelmed every time I go to Art Is at the variety of faces, ages, and interests that have come together in love and support. I've been to plenty of art retreats both as teacher and student and I haven't found one as home grown and home made in the best possible sense of those words than Art Is.
